Craig and I went for a quick fossil hunt during the early evening and managed to find a few bits of bone we hadn’t seen before including one that looks like it might contain some skull elements and even a tooth or claw.

I’ll be sending this one to the local museum for a look to see if this is something they are interested in.

Winter has arrived here in New Zealand with short daylight hours and colder temperatures, so the next few hunts might be a bit darker.
