I set off late afternoon to go and retrieve what looks like a stone that has been worked and perhaps find a fossil or two. It was a nice warm evening but the wind was howling!
Luckily, the stone with the hole in it was still where I stashed it and I could lug the 45lbs piece the 5km back to the car. Of course I couldn’t not take a possible crab home with me as well.
I stopped by the rock slide that had exposed some good bone previously which I managed to get to before the waves smashed them to bits, I couldn’t see any newly exposed ones though which was a bit of a mystery.
