Footage from a rainy 7 days up on the Denniston Plateau where we did field mapping exercises. This was a compulsory Geology course, Geology 241, from the University of Canterbury. I still have two field trips to do after this one, Geology 351 and 352.

We were pretty much soaked the whole time we were there but it was amazing seeing all the historical mine workings and the giant carnivorous snails that call the plateau home.
