We managed to find some nice agates and bits of chalcedony in spite of the amount of snow on the ground which really limited the amount of ground we could inspect. I really need a pair of waders as the rivers were too deep for my gum boots - my feet were freezing! Don’t think I got frostbite but sure felt like it was close.

This was at the Hinds River, Canterbury.
